SOUND HEALING

Dr. Sangeeta is a Minister of the Ministry of Maat, an interfaith ministry based in Kingston,
NY, a Yoga Teacher and Therapist from the Raja Ashtanga Yoga tradition of Gitananda Yoga, and a Sound and Music Facilitator. Sangeeta works with sound healing modalities from
various world traditions, including Italian, Indian, and North American.

Sangeeta performs concerts of vocal music, percussion and string instruments such as the guitar, the
harp and the tampura.

Sangeeta officiates ceremonies for rites of passage and transformations. She creates
décors and ritual objects, as well as ritual music and dance.

CLASSES and WORKSHOPS:

Sound Healing: In these classes, Dr. Sangeeta
explores the world of sound as a vibrational field and draws examples of sound healing modalities from Italy, India and the United States, bringing together contemporary music, classical
music and folklore. Lectures include both theory and practice based on listening exercises, breathing exercises and sound-making.

Ashtanga Yoga: Dr. Sangeeta is a graduate
of the International Yoga Teacher's Training Six Months Course at Ananda Ashram, Pondicherry, India. She teaches classes in Hatha Yoga and Pranayama Yoga, following the
paramparai (tradition) of Gitananda Yoga. She brings together the study of Yoga and Sound through breathing exercises, listening exercises, and by teaching the swaras
(notes) as a form of dharana (concentration).

Italian Folklore: A Professor of Italian Culture and Folklore at New York University and Vassar College, New York, Dr. Sangeeta teaches Italian folk music and
storytelling as a form of self analysis, discovery and evolution. Classes and workshops include historical and cultural information about the Italian heritage, as well as a
practical element of music and storytelling.

Florence and the region of Chianti. She is specialized in the area of Art and Science in Renaissance Florence. Bringing together her passion for art, astrology, sacred sounds and geometry,
Dr. Sangeeta offers tours of Florence based on the esoteric traditions of the Renaissance.

On the Pilgrims' Footsteps: In this itinerary Laura Biagi brings the visitors on a journey on the florentine/siennese tract of
the Francigena, the old pilgrims' road that during the Middle Ages connected Santiago de Compostela (Spain), Canterbury (England), and Rome. This itinerary is performed on a car/bus
with local stops.
